Bailey Bag is striving hard to be at zero waste. Bailey Bag looks for opportunities on how best to use the waste that is created during the manufacturing process.
One thing that is done is the saving of the small squares, these are created when making the base of a bag. Once there is a sufficient number they are donated to a nursery in the local community. The young children use these to help develop colour recognition and matching, stimulate conversation about patterns and texture as well as developing their gluing and sticking skills.
Many wonderful works of art are created from these.
